Here at Orlando Eyecare we want our patients to have the clearest vision possible. We also want your eyes to be as healthy as possible. In addition to annual eye health exams, there are some things you can to do to help maintain excellent ocular health….
1) Avoid acquiring diabetes. Diabetes can cause blurry vision even with your glasses on. Maintain a healthy weight, participate in physical activity at least three times a week for 30 minutes and increase your consumption of leafy green vegetables.
2) Don’t smoke. Smoking has ties to early cataract formation and macular degeneration so save $1,200 a year and keep your eyes healthy.
3) Wear sunglasses. Excessive sun exposure can cause inflammation, early cataract formation and possible retinal problems. Get some good sunglasses and wear them.
It has probably been a while since you’ve had an eye health exam. Now is a good time to call for an appointment.
