You are a wonderful friend as well as a credit to your profession. We need more people like you who will take the time to not only treat us medically, but, more importantly, to treat our souls. Because we share a common faith, we know, all too well, that when the spirit is at peace, the body will heal. You have helped so many with that philosophy. I just wish others would follow. We were not there just to be treated medically, but we healed spiritually with your kindness, patience and genuine concern for our well-being. We always felt that when we arrived it was like going home to family.
I loved seeing each of your children grow up and then begin working in the practice. You provided the seed in each of their souls and then they planted it in their own garden of hope. All of your children must be so proud of a Dad and Mom who would give them such a treasure.
One last thing. You can’t imagine how it feels to be able to come to your office. You have brought people in who truly make everyone feel at home and not like they are a number. Thank you for that.
May God continue to give you many blessings in your mature years. Enjoy the fruits of your labor, and, yes, don’t ever retire. The mind must stay active and we are social beings. Just remember: We are spirits on a human journey and when our work is done, here on earth, God will call us home and say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Now enter the Kingdom of Heaven. You are that angel who has led many.
